Frequently Asked Questions

What is home care?

Private Duty Home Care (also called Home Services in Illinois) is a service that allows seniors to have a personal caregiver to assist them with their activities of daily living. Home care service can be provided on an hourly or live in basis and includes respite care for family caregivers who need a break from their caregiving duties. Our caregivers work with clients in their private homes/apartments, assisted living, skilled nursing and/or in hospitals. We provide home care in Lincolnwood, Evanston, Skokie, and the surrounding area.

Why Custom Home Care?

First and foremost, we care! Since 1994 our company has been providing the same care and services we would demand for our own loved ones. We have the history, experience, knowledge and understanding required to help make the transition to home care what it should be: a positive extension of independence while supporting one with the highest level of quality care. Custom Home Care is licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health as a Home Services and Home Nursing Agency.
