Frequently Asked Questions

What is home care?

Private Duty Home Care (also called Home Services in Illinois) is a service that allows seniors to have a personal caregiver to assist them with their activities of daily living. Home care service can be provided on an hourly or live in basis and includes respite care for family caregivers who need a break from their caregiving duties. Our caregivers work with clients in their private homes/apartments, assisted living, skilled nursing and/or in hospitals. We provide home care in Lincolnwood, Evanston, Skokie, and the surrounding area.

Why Custom Home Care?

Custom Home Care is licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health as a Home Services and Home Nursing Agency.
